NO SCHOOL TOMORROW, NORDICS!
Yesterday, our High School Student Council sponsored a Powderpuff football event for the 9-12th grade girls. The entry fee to get into the game was a canned good.
This morning, Hailee Siegler and Lauren Jungwirth, members of Student Council, were happy to be able to donate it locally to the Grace Sagola Church's food pantry.
Thank you to everyone who had a part in making the event so special!
BIG DAY FOR THE NORDICS!
Our 7th and 8th Grade Girls basketball teams are in the Division A Championships tonight. The games will be played at 5:30pm and 6:30pm in Kingsford.
The Varsity Volleyball team plays North Central tonight. It will also be Parents Night. We will honor and acknowledge our Varsity parents right after the JV Game.
We also ask the community to come walk through our halls tonight and vote on the best decorated door for Elementary/Middle School and the best wall throughout the High School. The winners will be announced at the football game tomorrow.

Please use the "Middle School Tournament Entrance" for tomorrow's game. The doors will open at 4:30pm CST for spectators.
Our 7th grade plays at 5:30 CST and our 8th grade plays at 6:30 CST.
The Powderpuff game tonight will begin at 5:30pm.
Reminder: Student Council is asking the community to bring a canned good for entry tonight!

Congratulations to our 7th grade girls on defeating the West Iron Wykons last night. The girls will play in the A Division Championship on Thursday night at 5:30 in Kingsford.
The 8th grade girls will play Forest Park tonight in the first round of the A Division. If they win, they will play Thursday night at 6:30 in Kingsford.

The game on Friday night, October 11th was moved to a 7:00pm CST kickoff.
Parents night will begin at 6:30pm. Parents will line up on the West side of the field by the scoreboard.

Soren and Freja, both competed in the Norge Ski Jumping Tournament in Fox River Grove, Illinois over the weekend.
Soren earned 3rd place and Freja earned a 2nd place medal.

Thanks to our High School Band members who were able to participate in the fund raiser for the Dickinson Area Community Foundation. Our musicians had the opportunity to play with fellow musicians from Kingsford High School and Iron Mountain High School. It was a great experience for all!
