Our Nordic band played for the headstart this week.


The Multi Media class tied quilts that the Zion Lutheran Quilters made for World Relief. These quilts will go to third world countries and other areas of the world.


Middle and High School PE students participated in our own "March Madness" tournament in PE classes for the last week and a half. Students were mixed in 4 different teams and picked a college that they would represent as their team name.
Middle School students earned trophies for 1st place and medals for 2nd place. Each class picked their own MVPs and awarded an individual the Sportsmanship award based on their teamwork, positive attitude and respect.
High School students won "Nordic Madness Champions" t-shirts!
Big thanks to Signature Design and BK Enterprises for making this year's Nordic Madness another fun year. The kids loved it!

The K-5th grade students are participating in the American Heart Association - American Heart Challenge. Students will learn the signs of a stroke, as well and hands only CPR.
Students get donations through their personal pages and can earn a bunch of cool different prizes such as keychains, wristbands, jump ropes and many others! We are hoping to beat last year's record!

Congratulations to our students who participated in the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest for the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Council 1585. We competed against students from Breitung Township, Iron Mountain and Bishop Baraga.
We had two students, Isabelle Steinbrecher and Felix Mattson, advance to the District Competition last weekend.
