The North Dickinson High School Student Council wants to make this year’s Homecoming bigger and better than ever! Money raised will help purchase pep rally activities, dance decorations, football game giveaways, games, and more.
Our K–12 Penny War begins MONDAY! Each grade will have its own labeled jar in the school office. This will run from Monday, September 14th to Friday, September 18th.
If you are a community member attending an athletic event, you can also donate!
Here’s how it works:
➕ Coins add points to your grade’s total.
➖ Dollar bills subtract points from a grade’s total.
➕ Put coins in your grade’s jar to raise your score.
➖ Put dollar bills in another grade’s jar to lower its score!
You can bring pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and DOLLAR BILLS! The grade with the HIGHEST point total at the end of the week will win their class a Little Caesars pizza party during Homecoming Week! 🍕

The Middle School Girls basketball game tomorrow will be AT West Iron tomorrow night at 5:30pm.
Over the summer, we received an NFHS camera for our football field and tonight is the VERY first night we get to use it! Our JV Nordic football team will be playing the North Central Jets at 5:30pm CST.

The 5th grade class is creating different volumes with geometric figures with their new math curriculum.

Our 8th-grade health class is beginning a weeklong kindness initiative! To start the week, each student selected a meaningful prompt and wrote a letter to a teacher who has made a difference in their life.
They wrote to teachers who believe in them, notice when they need encouragement, challenge them to reach their potential, share advice that stays with them, help them feel like they belong, and inspire them to become more confident.
This activity gave our students an opportunity to reflect on the positive impact their teachers have made and express their appreciation through thoughtful words. A simple letter can be a powerful reminder that kindness and encouragement truly matter! 💌🌟

There will also be a Freshman class meeting at 6:30 with Mrs. Jungwirth.
