I will do my personal best to:

• provide a safe and caring learning environment where each child will learn to be responsible for his/her own behavior and learning
• follow curriculum designed to meet the needs of the children and make this curriculum known to the parent
• take into account individual strengths in children
• help the children follow the school and classroom rules
• keep the parents informed of their child's progress on a regular basis
• communicate to the parent my expectations for the student and the parent (homework assignments, classroom behavior, etc.)
• schedule parent/teacher conferences to accommodate parents' schedules
• attend school functions
• teach in all areas of intelligences
• assign homework and review/record the return of homework
