
Students
participating in school-sponsored groups and activities will be allowed to
solicit funds from other students, staff members, and members of the community
in accordance with school guidelines. The following general rules will
apply to all fundraisers.
- Students involved in the fund-raiser are
not to interfere with students participating in other activities in order to
solicit funds
- A student will not be allowed to
participate in a fund-raising activity for a group in which he/she is not a
member without the approval of the student's counselor
- No student may participate in
fund-raising activities off school property without proper supervision by
approved staff or other adults.
- No house-to-house canvassing is allowed
by any student for any fund-raising activity.
- Any fund-raisers that require students
to exert themselves physically beyond their normal pattern of activity, such
as "runs for...", will be monitored by a staff member in order to prevent a
student from over-extending himself/herself to the point of potential harm
