Care of Property

Students are responsible for the care of their own personal property.  The school will not be responsible for personal property.  Valuables such as money, jewelry or irreplaceable items should not be brought to school.  The school may confiscate such items and return them to the student's parents.

Students may not affix anything of permanent nature to their lockers.  If students wish to attach items such as pictures or posters, they must use scotch tape or masking tape.  If students affix anything of a permanent nature to their lockers, they can be asked to pay for the cost associated wit the removal of these items.

Damage to or loss of school equipment and facilities wastes taxpayers' money and undermines the school program.  Therefore, if a student does damage to or loses school property, the student or his/her parents will be required to pay for the replacement or damage.  If the damage or loss was intentional, the student will also be subject to discipline according to the Student Discipline Code.
