 I will do my personal best to:

• supervise the completion of my child's homework according to the teacher's guidelines

• read progress reports and discuss them with the teacher, attend at least one parent/teacher conference either at the regularly-scheduled conference or at a convenient time to be arranged between the parent and teacher

• communicate expectations for my child's education to the teacher and notify the teacher of any significant events or changes in my child's life

• monitor both the amount of time my child spends with television and the type of programs watched

I will do my person best to do at least one of the following:

• attend at least two school functions / assemblies

• volunteer as a classroom helper

• eat lunch at school with my child at least two times per year

• prepare materials for the teacher on my own time at home

• share a special skill or activity with my child's class
