1) Safety must be considered at all times. 2) Treat everyone and everything with respect. 3) Be on task and productive at all times. 4) Be responsible for you and your environment. 5) All school rules stated in the North Dickinson Handbook will be followed in the classroom. 6) Students must wear safety eyewear and protective clothing. 7) When using power tools, proper shoes must be worn that cover the feet. 8) No gum allowed. 9) No running or horseplay. This is dangerous around power tools and will not be tolerated. 10) Follow all instruction precisely with regard to tools and equipment. Shop tools are not toys and can be dangerous. 11) Report any accident or injury to the instructor immediately. 12) Make sure hair is pulled back and sleeves are rolled up. No dangling jewelry allowed. 13) Specific rules will be administered as needed for individual tasks. 14) Good craftsmanship and attention to detail results in good workmanship and a better grade. |
