Note from Kevin and Tammy Turner


Graduated in 1986
Married Tammy Kay Johnson form 1987 class.
Tammy and I have three children  Emily is 17, Hannah is 14 and Hunter is 11
I am the President and found of Strategic World Impact, a registered Non
Governmental organization that works in War zones, Disaster areas and with
Human rights Violations.  I worked with State Department to set up Human
Rights commission and have testified before congress  in issues relating to
Sudan, Vietnam, North Korea, Laos, Cambodia, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Currently serving as Adjunct faculty for Command and General Staff College
for United States Army. I am working with the International officers from 91
different countries that are part of the Department of Joint and
Multinational Operations.

I have served in over 110 countries during disasters and war providing
medical aid, setting up emergency hospitals and refugee relief.

Recently moved from Africa to Oklahoma were our head quarters is located.

I am also an ordained minister with the SBC.

I have spent the last 18 years serving in various capacities through
different organizations serving as Field Liaison Officer and Director of
Development setting up projects to bring assistance and aid during Earth
Quakes to Tsunamis as well as working in areas with Rebel factions such as
Chechnya to Myanmar.  I currently have more active war zone time than any
serving member of the U.S. Military.
Pioneered a curriculum called DART (Disaster Assistance Response Teams) that
is taught annually to US Military and other Non-Governmental organization.

Tammy (Johnson) Turner has been a constant support and wonderful mother to
our children. She currently is a substitute teacher at a Classical Private
school that our children attend in Oklahoma.

I enjoy Diving and anything that involves a tropical beach as well as
gardening  and history. I have climbed Mt. Elbrus, the highest mountain in
Europe and have been on the Glaciers of K2 in Pakistan after the massive
earthquakes that rocked the area.
My Favorite teacher was Tom Berutti as he made his classes come alive. Don
Rittenhouse with out a doubt was  the best band teacher in History.
